Synopsis
Emily, the illegitimate daughter of a count, has spent her entire life desperately obeying her family in the hope of securing a place for herself, despite being constantly mistreated. But one day, as though they were simply getting rid of an unwanted burden, Emily is forcibly married off to the feared “Impotent Duke.” At the same time, after learning the shocking truth behind her mother’s death, Emily makes a firm decision: “I will never let anyone control me again. This time, I will live my own life.” But the moment she steps into the Duke’s mansion, she encounters Leon, a boy with his guard raised to the highest level!? To make matters worse, Lumeia, the so called “Impotent Duke,” coldly tells her, “You don’t have to do anything.” Yet as Emily gradually comes to know Leon, a warmth unlike anything she has ever felt begins to bloom within her.
